Customizations/Sizing/Alterations
The neckline/backline of the dress was altered to a similar style as the Winnie Couture ETOILE 3275 neckline. The original dress has capped sleeves, which I did not want, so they were removed to become a high neckline dress with straps of the exact width of the ETOILE 3275 straps.
The dress was NOT originally tailored to my exact height, however, I did take it to a professional wedding dress tailor (who works closely with the Houston Winnie Couture team) to shorten the length of the dress (the train was adjusted accordingly). I wore 3" Kate Spade high heels and I am 5'2" so the dress was tailored to a height of 5'5".
The sizes for my fitting were:
Bust: 32
Waist: 24
Hips: 36
The dress size is 0. I did not need additional altering for the dress with the exception of the bust. Paddings were added to help fill out the bust area.
