I've attached original photos of the dress before I altered it. The dress originally had an off the shoulder but I had the sleeves for the off the shoulder be sewn into the dress. It is my understanding that they can be unaltered back to the original off the shoulder sleeves because they said they didn't want to cut the sleeves off when they altered it.
When I purchased the dress back in 2023, I measured 41 (bust), 34 (waist), and 43 (hip). My body fluctuates, but I think I lost an inch or so off of my waist. I measured between size 14 and 16 (size 16 for the waist), but I decided to get a 14. The dress was very tight (which is what I wanted).
I'm about 5'6 and my heels were 2 1/4, however I ended up wearing flats for my wedding.
I got the dress pressed for the wedding, however, it is wrinkly and has some dirt at the bottom of the train. I spent over $3k on alterations. I don't know exactly how long the train is, but I'm guessing it's between 3-4.5 feet from the waist.
Total alterations included: shortening the train and bottom of the front of dress, sewing in the straps for off-the shoulder to make it strapless, placed buttons on the dress for the bustle, curving the wire in the dress to give more of an hourglass shape, and removing some of the filler fabic under the dress.
You will need to get it cleaned and pressed before use.
