Beautiful Modern Fit and Flare Crepe Wedding Dress with Spaghetti Straps
I purchased the Mikaella 2328 dress for our wedding in Mexico. I got it split size. Top size 4 and bottom size 8 as I have a smaller chest and waist but wide hips. For reference, I am normally an xs/s in tops and small or 26/27 in pants.
What made me fall in love with this dress was how the top fit. It's like wearing a comfortable corset. It is super structured at the top and hugs your waistline for that snatched look. The material is very soft and gives it a nice clean finish. I wore sticky pads/bra that was double-sided stick to fill out the bust a little more and lift. The back is also my favorite, the straps meet in a V in the back and there are crepe buttons that line the back all the way to the bottom of the dress. These buttons are sewn in so you don't have to actually button them yourself. There is a zipper in the back to make it easy to get in and out of (also unzipped to go to the bathroom because it made it easier to lift the dress up. The V back is not too low, you can still wear spanx/underwear which is great.
I didn't want a train on my dress so I purchased it without. As you can see in the photos it is slightly longer in the back but there is not a traditional train.
Condition: I paid $400 to get it professionally cleaned the week we got back from our wedding. They were able to get it almost back to new condition. There are some very very small stains at the very bottom of the dress where the last stitching is and then one other very small stain on the back bottom of the dress. You can only see this if you are up close to the dress and looking for it.
Alterations: For alterations, the only thing I had done was take the hips in about 1/4 inch. It was super subtle. I did not alter the length of the dress. I am 5'7 and wore 3.5" inch heels and it just hit above the floor.
