Beautiful Sleeveless Sheath Wedding Dress with Lace Appliques and Sparkly Straps
This dress is gorgeous and highlights your natural curves so well! It was perfect for my wine country summer wedding in California. I loved how it looked on me and how it made me feel like a true bride.
It's a sheath-style dress with lace appliques and slim jeweled straps. The inside lining is comfortable and kept me cool in summer weather and it's a zip-up in the back with buttons lining it to give the illusion that it's buttoned all the way up, but very easy to take on and off! This is the ivory lace on ivory so the lace print adds a delicate femininity to a classic wedding dress. The bottom shape holds nicely as it fans out naturally.
Alterations
This dress was altered. It started out as a 10, but the chest and rib cage areas were brought in to my body size (which is closer to a 4 in normal dress sizes). The straps were taken in as well. Only a little was taken in at the hips, and the bottom was not hemmed because I bought the "short" option, which worked out perfectly with my 2-inch heels. In the bust area, some of the boning was taken out because it was looking pointy after taking in the sides, and push-up cups were added to give a more natural bust look. (I'm a 34B). The mid-back was taken in so it laid flat, and also under the butt to show off the booty more! An intricate bustle was added to the back, as you can see in some of the photos. There are 3 loops/buttons on the under layer, 5 loops/buttons, and 2 snaps in place on the lace layer to hook the train up nicely for the reception. Additionally, there's a snap added at the very end of the train to hold the two layers together when you have it down. (You will have to undo this snap when you bustle the two layers of the dress).
Condition
This dress has been professionally cleaned. After cleaning, I can see some slight discoloration on the edges of some of the train where it swept in the dirt, but not noticeable unless you are up close.
