Beautiful Sparkly Sleeveless Mermaid Wedding Dress & Matching Long Sleeved Bolero Jacket
I absolutely fell in love with this dress when I saw it in a magazine. I found the designer and tracked down a store with the dress. I tried it on and absolutely loved it! The mermaid cut is so sexy and flattering and the lace bolero jacket adds a unique touch. I then tried on every other dress for about an hour just to make sure, and of course, I had to go back to this one.
I wore the dress only once, on my wedding day. It's been in the same bag since and is in good condition. I didn't have it cleaned afterward so there is a tiny bit of discoloration on the interior of the dress, on the top left, and two tiny stain dots on the lace but nothing that couldn't be easily cleaned.
I didn't have the dress taken in but I did have a seamstress add a thread to the interior of the train so that I could hook it to one of the buttons during the reception. She also made a custom slip with tulle on the bottom to accentuate the flare at the bottom. I would include this with the dress :).
Designer's Description
Two-piece comprising an ensemble of a beaded lace overlay dress and matching bolero jacket. The gown has an empire waist, spaghetti straps, a straight neckline, dramatic mermaid insets, and a chapel-length train. It is beaded throughout with crystals and bugle beads.
The removable lace bolero features long sleeves and an elegant Queen Anne neckline. It is the perfect modest touch for the ceremony or to add a bit of warmth for a breezy Spring or Fall event.
